自1992年5月开放党禁，目前有11个。主要为：
    （1）新爱国党（New Patriotic Party）。1992年6月2日成立。
    （2）全国民主大会党（National Democratic Congress）。1992年6月10日成立。
    （3）大会人民党（Convention People’s Party）。
    1998年6月15日由人民大会党（People’s Convention Party）
    和全国大会党（National Convention Party）合并而成。
    （4）人民全国大会党（People’s National Convention）。
    1992年5月29日成立。
    （5）全国改革党（National Reform Party）。
    原全国民主大会党内一派别，
    1999年7月27日分裂出来正式成为合法政党。
    此外，加纳还有6个政党，他们是：
    加纳全民党（Every Gh -anaian Living Everywhere）、
    加纳民主共和党(Ghana Democratic Republican Party)、
    民主人民党Democratic People’s Party)、
    大联合人民党(Great Consolidated Popular Party)、
    加纳统一运动党(United Ghana Movement)、
    民族救国党(National Salvation Party)等。
